How to Install After Downloading

    Run the Chosen Package

    Setup x64 fits most PCs, MSIX follows the Windows package flow, and the portable build should be extracted to a stable folder before launch.

    Complete First Launch

    Choose the interface language and confirm the dashboard shows the add-profile control.

After a Successful Install

Once the dashboard opens, import a profile and wait for the proxy list to refresh. Choose a proxy, connect, and load a real page in the browser or app you normally use.

Windows File Verification (When Needed)

After using an accelerated source, an interrupted transfer, or a security warning, compare the SHA-256 for the same filename. A normal official-source download does not require verification every time.

Should I install Hiddify before preparing a profile?

You may store the subscription URL securely first, but choose the Windows package by architecture and installation method, install it, and confirm that Hiddify launches before importing. This separates package or permission failures from profile failures. Continue only when the dashboard exposes the add-profile control.

Where do I import a subscription?

Open Add profile on the dashboard, read the complete subscription URL from the clipboard or paste it manually, and wait for a profile name and update time before choosing a proxy. If no profile appears, correct the URL or import step instead of reinstalling the Windows client or enabling TUN.

Will an update preserve every existing profile?

Update results depend on the Windows version, package type, and current configuration. Record the installed version, profile name, selected proxy, routing mode, and a recoverable subscription URL. After updating, verify each item and a real target connection. Restore the prior package or profile before changing unrelated settings if something regresses.
