How to Install After Downloading

    Choose the Distribution Route

    Use DEB on Debian or Ubuntu based systems. On other desktop distributions, try AppImage; extract the archive before running the contained AppImage.

    Confirm the App Launches

    If AppImage does not run, check execute permission and desktop dependencies. If DEB installation fails, preserve the package-manager error before resolving the named dependency.

After a Successful Install

Once the dashboard opens, import a profile and wait for the proxy list to refresh. Choose a proxy, connect, and load a real page in the browser or app you normally use.

Linux File Verification (When Needed)

After using an accelerated source, an interrupted transfer, or a security warning, compare the SHA-256 for the same filename. A normal official-source download does not require verification every time.

You may store the subscription URL securely first, but choose the Linux package by distribution, architecture, and use case, install it, and confirm that Hiddify launches before importing. This separates DEB, AppImage, or archive problems from profile problems. Continue only after the dashboard exposes the add-profile control.
