Start with the Recommended Package for a Typical Device

Choose Setup x64 for a typical Windows PC, PKG for macOS, DEB for Debian or Ubuntu, arm64 APK for a recent Android device, or the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Open a complete platform page only when another install format or CPU architecture is required.

Both the PKG and DMG support Apple M-series and Intel Macs; the difference is the install method. Choose PKG for an installer or DMG for a disk image.

Choose by Operating System, CPU, and Install Type

Confirm the operating system first, then CPU architecture, and finally standard, packaged, or portable installation. File size cannot replace those decisions. Verify the exact filename and official source afterward. If the system rejects the package or Hiddify does not launch, return to platform selection; speed, a matching digest, and the release number do not prove device compatibility.

Special Install Types and Older Devices

MSIX, DMG, AppImage, portable archives, older ARM, x86_64, and universal packages each serve a real case, but they should not appear before the usual choice. Complete platform pages keep common packages first and explain when a special package is appropriate.

    Run the recommended package. For a portable or archived build, extract it to a stable folder as instructed.

Check SHA-256 After a Mirror or File Warning

A normal official-source download can proceed to installation. After an accelerated mirror, interrupted transfer, browser warning, or doubtful copy, compare SHA-256 for the same filename on its platform page; a digest cannot determine whether the OS, architecture, or install type is correct.

Which Windows package should I use?

Setup x64 fits most 64-bit Windows PCs. Choose MSIX for packaged installation or a portable archive when installing is unsuitable. Confirm the operating system, architecture, and filename before using the official source. The choice is complete only when Hiddify launches and the dashboard shows the add-profile area.

How do I choose arm64, arm7, or universal on Android?

Most recent Android phones use arm64, while older hardware may require arm7. Choose universal only when system information does not reveal the architecture. Continue to profile import after Android accepts and installs the APK. If it reports incompatibility, recheck the device architecture instead of trying unverified packages from several sources.

Is an iOS package included in GitHub v4.1.1?

No iOS installer is present among the 12 assets in the current v4.1.1 GitHub release. Use the App Store route referenced by the official README for iPhone and iPad. Do not rename or sideload an APK, DMG, or desktop archive. Preserve any store availability message for the iOS recovery branch.

Should I install Hiddify before preparing a profile?

You may store the subscription URL securely first, but install and launch Hiddify before importing it. This separates an installation failure from a profile failure. Continue only after the add-profile control is visible. If no profile appears, recheck the complete URL and import step without reinstalling the app or changing routing settings.
