Confirm the Device and Install Route

Why this comes first: the operating system, CPU architecture, and install route determine whether a file can run. File size and download speed do not prove compatibility. Common packages appear first; choose a special format only for its stated condition.

How to Install After Downloading

    Choose the APK for the CPU

    Recent devices usually use arm64. Choose universal only when the architecture is unknown, and do not treat arm7 or x86_64 as general-purpose builds.

    Allow This Install and Launch

    If Android asks to install an unknown app, grant temporary permission only to the current browser or file manager and revoke it after installation. Reaching the Hiddify dashboard completes the app setup.

After a Successful Install

Once the dashboard opens, import a profile and wait for the proxy list to refresh. Choose a proxy, connect, and load a real page in the browser or app you normally use.

Android File Verification (When Needed)

After using an accelerated source, an interrupted transfer, or a security warning, compare the SHA-256 for the same filename. A normal official-source download does not require verification every time.

Android APK Questions

Where do I import a subscription?

Open the add-profile sheet from the dashboard, then read the complete URL from the clipboard or paste it manually. Wait for a profile name and update time before opening the proxy list. If neither appears, verify the full URL and import again without changing DNS, routing mode, or TUN during the same check.

Can I post my subscription URL when asking for help?

Do not publish it. A subscription URL can contain an identifier that grants access. Share the Android version, APK architecture, redacted error, profile state, and update time instead. If the complete URL has already been exposed, ask the provider to replace it; deleting a screenshot does not revoke a copied address.

Will an update preserve every existing profile?

An update cannot guarantee that every profile will remain. Record the Android and Hiddify versions, profile name, and a recoverable subscription URL first. After updating, confirm that the profile refreshes, a proxy can be selected, and the affected app loads a real page. Re-import or recover before changing unrelated routing settings.
